We manufacture small, intricate parts through to large structural components with full traceability and dimensional control.
Each job is governed by structured process planning, in-process verification and automated inspection, ensuring accuracy, repeatability and dependable delivery for every customer.
Machining Small To Large
BCW provides complete machining support from early prototypes and tooling validation through to full-rate production.
We handle everything from compact turned parts to structural components exceeding five metres in length, as well as multi-part assemblies requiring precise dimensional alignment.
Each project follows controlled process planning and digital traceability to guarantee repeatability, consistent quality and dependable lead times.
This flexibility enables us to manage variable volumes while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability.
3, 4 & 5 Axis Machining
Our fleet of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres delivers the accuracy, flexibility and speed required for complex geometries.
These high-speed systems streamline production, reduce setup time and allow us to machine intricate features in a single operation.

Turning
Our multi-axis turning capability provides precise, repeatable machining for simple and complex geometries across a wide range of materials. Equipped with live tooling, sub-spindles and automatic tool changers, our turning centres allow multiple operations to be completed in a single setup, improving accuracy and reducing handling time.
This approach enables efficient production of prototypes through to full-scale volumes while maintaining excellent surface integrity, dimensional consistency and dependable quality across every part we manufacture.
Sliding Head Machining
Our sliding head machining capability delivers highly efficient, lights-out production for small, intricate components used across automotive, aerospace and defence sectors. Our machines combine integrated bar feeders, advanced tool monitoring and high-speed cutting to achieve superior surface finishes and tight dimensional control.
This setup enables continuous, repeatable, high-volume output with minimal operator intervention. The result is a cost-effective, stable manufacturing process ideal for precision pins, shafts, fasteners and connector components.

Our Precision Components Manufacturing operations span BCW’s Burnley and Wellingborough facilities, with over 300,000 sq. ft. of production space dedicated to CNC machining, automation, and precision inspection.
Each site operates under a unified quality system, ensuring repeatable standards across all programmes.
