3 – 9 Axis CNC Saw Cutting
Our in-house capability to cut aluminium and non-ferrous alloy profiles to lengths up to 6m and geometric compound and angles up to 45 degrees.
- Saw cutting technology includes automated CNC controlled profile support rollers to minimise manual handling waste improving production efficiencies
- Twin head cutting technology up to 9 axis across 2 rotating cutting units, blade feed and vertical to optimise cutting efficiencies on angled and compound geometries
- Utilising blade diameters of up to 600mm with profile specific parameters allows us to maximise cutting contact and cut profiles of up to 500mm in height and to +/- 0.025mm tolerances
3 – 5 Axis CNC Machining
Boasting over 95 CNC Machining Centres site wide with 3 to 5 Axis Milling and Turning capability of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.Key facility features include:
- Twin Spindle machining capability to optimise production efficiencies
- 30m x axis travel machining centre for steel and aluminium structural and sub assembly machining
- Precision manufacturing up to 25-micron machining tolerances
- Engineered Design and Manufactured Work holding solutions to minimise machining defects and optimise production performance
- Automated Flex loader loading machining centres to minimise manual handling waste and improve production efficiencies
- Automated robot material processing and loading with up to 2.5m reach and handle up to 20kg products
- Integrated vision systems that allow us to verify workpiece loading orientation and position to minimise machine downtime
Material Handling Capabilities
BCW Group material handling capabilities start direct from contract review through to delivery of products and aftermarket care. Our ERP and bespoke purpose built web based systems allow us to control our customer orders effectively whilst monitoring cost and effectiveness
Our logistics solutions allow us to manage and transport inventory throughout the supply chain efficiently and on time through robust Material Resource Planning and Master Production Scheduling to align our customers demand with our operational commitments.
- Overhead Cranes allow us to transport large scale products and weights of up to 10,000kg around our facilities
- Our FLT certified material handlers transport products around all BCW sites to a Just In Time model, carefully monitoring operations capacity and planning to ensure downtime is minimised
- Flexloader configurations allow us to handle fragile materials and components without human intervention, transporting products from transportation media to CNC machine
