Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on developing, validating and improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction, and ensuring safe, repeatable and cost-effective production solutions.

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000

Key Responsibilities:

Review customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements
Develop manufacturing processes, routing and production documentation
Support RFQs, feasibility studies and cost estimates
Lead NPI projects from quotation through to production release
Support APQP, PPAP, FAI and process validation activities
Work with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges
Drive continuous improvement, quality and productivity initiatives
Support compliance with customer, quality and industry standards

Skills & Experience:

HNC/HND or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Production Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD data and specifications
Understanding of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and process validation
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Aerospace, defence, automotive or similar industry experience desirable

We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team. The role focuses on managing supplier relationships, sourcing materials and services, and driving improvements in cost, quality and delivery performance to support business objectives.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier relationships and performance
Place purchase orders and track deliveries
Progress chase overdue orders and resolve supply issues
Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms
Identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities
Support supplier selection for new and existing products
Monitor supplier capacity, risk and market trends
Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data

Skills & Experience:

Engineering Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. The role focuses on reviewing customer RFQs, developing manufacturing methods and producing accurate cost estimates for CNC machining projects, ensuring competitive quotations while maintaining profitability.

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000

Key Responsibilities:
Review RFQs, drawings and CAD models to determine manufacturing requirements
Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, tooling and machine time
Develop CNC machining methods, tooling and fixture concepts
Calculate cycle times for turning and milling operations
Support bid and quotation preparation for new business opportunities
Liaise with Engineering, Procurement and Sales teams throughout the quotation process
Resolve technical and cost-related issues on new and existing enquiries
Support continuous improvement and manufacturing process optimisation

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in estimating, CNC machining or manufacturing engineering
Strong knowledge of CNC turning and milling processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD data
Experience using CAD/CAM software
Good understanding of tooling, materials, workholding and manufacturing methods
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience within precision engineering, aerospace, defence or similar sectors desirable
Knowledge of robotics and automation beneficial but not essential

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of materials, supporting production and customer requirements while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support our quality function and drive continuous improvement across the business. This role will focus on ensuring product quality, supporting customer requirements, analysing quality data, and leading improvement activities across manufacturing operations.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary quality contact for customer accounts
Support 8D investigations and MRB activities
Lead quality review meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Analyse quality data using SPC, MSA and process capability tools
Support new product introduction activities including PFMEA, Control Plans and PPAP
Manage calibration systems and participate in internal audits
Support the development of the Business Management System

Skills & Experience:

Experience in a Quality Engineering role
Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, MSA and 8D
Working knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF 16949

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to support production by carrying out visual and mechanical inspections to ensure products meet customer, regulatory and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect semi-finished and finished parts using visual and mechanical inspection methods
Complete inspections in line with SOPs and quality procedures
Record inspection data and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure compliance with route cards, quality standards and HSE requirements
Support investigations, problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
Work closely with Production, Quality and Shift Leaders to achieve business targets
Skills & Experience

Rotating Shift Pattern

In this role, you’ll operate and load a range of machinery, carry out in-process inspections, and ensure all work is completed in line with quality, safety, and BCW BMS requirements.

You’ll play a key part in meeting production targets, maintaining equipment through daily checks,
and contributing to continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who works well in a team, can stay organised under pressure, and is committed to maintaining high standards on the shopfloor.
