Anti Slavery Policy
Modern slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour. The definition of human trafficking is accepted to be where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited.
Both modern slavery and human trafficking are crimes that the BCW Group maintain a zero-tolerance policy within the business, including within our external supply chain. It is expected that all BCW Group Customer and Suppliers will hold their own supply chain to similar standards.
The BCW Group are committed to the following:
- A zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
- The reporting of any suspicious activity within the business supply chain, towards any modern slavery and human trafficking acts.
- Consistent with the above the BCW Group may require employment or recruitment agencies supplying workers to the business to conform to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Suppliers/customers engaging in work with the BCW Group are also expected to comply with the same standards.
- If any organisation working on behalf of the BCW Group is found to be in breach of this policy or any other legal/regulatory activity. The BCW Group reserves the right to review the business relationship and act as appropriate.
