BCW Design & Manufacture is seeking a qualified and experienced Fitter to be trained in the programming and operation of laser tracking equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Fitter to quickly develop expertise in laser tracking, with full training provided by BCW. The role involves working on high-mix, low-volume workpieces, including metallic billets, small to large fabrications, and general assemblies for the aerospace, marine, and defence industries. As part of this role, you will learn to operate Faro and/or Leica laser tracking equipment to build and inspect jigs, fixtures, and other tooling. You will also gain experience in handling large, heavy structures using forklifts (FLT) and overhead cranes. You will work closely with production staff to ensure products meet customer specifications, troubleshoot issues, and communicate directly with customers when required. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new skills and potentially progress into a leadership role, where you will eventually lead build processes, set out methodologies, and ensure robust, repeatable, and measurable builds to customer specifications.

We are looking for an experienced Commodity Buyer Do you have the skills and experience we need? Role Objective Reporting to the Procurement Manager and working within a small team, the Commodity Buyer will be responsible for the development and introduction of sourcing and category plans that will be designed to deliver a value for money supply base, with specific focus on cost, quality and delivery The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a purchasing team preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment, working closely with suppliers, along with sound knowledge of purchasing, negotiation ,commercial understanding, and cost breakdown.
