BCW Group Triumphs at Pendleside Awards with Double Honours
BCW Group celebrated an incredible night at the prestigious Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge Awards, held at Burnley Mechanics Theatre on Friday night. With a dedicated team of supporters, #TeamBCW brought the energy, dancing and cheering as they celebrated their fundraising achievements for a cause close to their hearts.
The event was a resounding success, as BCW Group not only came together in camaraderie but also took home two esteemed awards that evening.
A Special Recognition for Marie Coward
The first highlight of the night was the presentation of the Pendleside Hospice Special Recognition Award to BCW Group’s HR Manager, Marie Coward. This award honours Marie’s longstanding dedication to BCW’s Corporate Challenge journey with Pendleside since 2017. Marie has been a vital force in shaping a culture of compassion and community spirit within the BCW family. Her commitment to rallying her colleagues around fundraising events has been instrumental in uniting the team under a shared purpose.
Marie’s passion goes beyond fundraising; she has also championed the mental wellbeing of BCW staff by actively promoting Pendleside’s bereavement counselling and support services. Her genuine care and people-focused approach have left an enduring mark on the BCW community. Receiving this award is a testament to her hard work and the spirit of giving she has fostered within the company.
Judges’ Corporate Challenge Champion Award for BCW Group
Adding to the night’s achievements, BCW Group was awarded the prestigious Judges’ Corporate Challenge Champion Award. This award is presented to a company that has consistently embodied the spirit of the Corporate Challenge, making it a central part of their culture over the years.
